The history of Free Dog Wines doesn’t actually begin as this brand. It began as “Lost West Wines”, a brand created in 2012 with an abstract story that was often hard to understand and even harder to explain. After a few years of wrestling with the complex story it represented, we decided that we needed to make this brand more simple and personal. We spent many early mornings in discussions over coffee, late night brainstorming sessions with bottles of wines, and hours upon hours researching on what direction we wanted to go.
